Crescent Heights Winter 2025 Minecraft Education After-School Program

Wishing all parents and students at Crescent Heights Elementary a Happy New Year 2025 in advance! A very exciting Minecraft Education program for grades 3 to 5 students is here. The Minecraft Adventures course allows students to plan, design, and build games. Within the Minecraft environment, students understand fundamental concepts like variables, conditional statements, and loops, laying the groundwork for future programming.

All G3-5 Crescent Heights students at the Cloverdale campus are eligible to enroll in the program regardless.

Program Schedule: every Monday, 3:15pm to 4:15pm (60 minutes) from Jan 20th, 2025 to March 10th, 2025 for a total of 7 sessions (no session on Feb 17th, 2025 due to Family Day long weekend).
Per student fee: $175 + GST = $184. Registration deadline: on or before Jan 15th, 2025 on a first come basis – 25 spots only.

Terms & Conditions:
– Registration will be on a first come first serve basis for paid students only. 
– Full refund can be requested via email before the program starts. A $10 admin + processing fee deduction shall apply on all refunds. 
– After the program starts, cancellation can be accepted within the first 2 weeks with a pro-rated refund for balance sessions.  
– After week 3, there will be no refunds issued for cancellation/ drop-outs. 
– No refunds or credits for regular student absence, unless there is a long leave of absence due to emergency.

Policies and Guidelines:

1. By entering the venue premises, you consent your student/ child to being photographed or recorded in videos. This footage may be used for internal references, social media marketing, or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, recorded, or promoted, you can contact us via email at [email protected], and we will accommodate your request respectfully.

2. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis for paid students only.

8. All walk-home permissions/ consent must be in writing only. Verbal requests shall not be accepted. If you need to change the student's walk-home permission later on, please email us at [email protected].
