Club Membership Terms & Conditions

I accept, and will adhere to all the club membership T&C at all times.
1. Be respectful towards others at all time. No bullying, personal comments or thrash talk allowed. 2. Physical violence, verbal abuse of any sort will not be tolerated at any time and qualify for strict action. 3. Respect the club volunteers and seek guidance from club manager at all times. 4. First preference to play a game will always be given to kids. Kindly be polite and cooperative with young ones to motivate them. 5. Do not slam any chess equipment, throw them around, press clocks harshly. Deliberate damage will not be entertained and the player may be denied future entry. 6. Please ensure you setup the Chess board in the starting position after you finish your game. Inform the club manager if there is any missing pieces. 7. In the event that all boards are full, kindly await your turn and inform the Club Manager to find you a seat. You can request for a chess clock if you like to play with time control. 8. No computers/ online software are allowed in chess club unless used by guest speaker/ manager. 9. Food/drink is not allowed at chess club during a live match. You can have beverages in the waiting area between your games and return for the next game. 10. Any damage to premises, property or people shall not be tolerated and qualify for strict action. 11. Senior players are expected to guide junior players as and when possible or volunteer for support. 12. Senior players are expected to guide junior players as and when possible or volunteer for support. 13. If you break these rules twice then you may be asked to leave for the day. 14. If you are a frequent defaulter, then you may be denied entry going forward. 15. Any player found guilty of theft or vandalism will be reported to RCMP. 16. You consent to us clicking pictures to promote our club and its events on social media.
