JKE Spring 2025 Chess & Robotics After-School Program
Spring break is fast approaching, and so is our JKE Spring 2025 Chess & Robotics After-School Program for the Spring 2025 term! The programs are proudly organized by the school PAC team in partnership with Zebra Robotics Langley and Fraser Valley Chess Academy.
All G2-7 JKE students are eligible to enroll in the course regardless of whether you participated in the program last term. For returning students, we shall continue the course from where we left off.
The Spring 2025 schedule is as follows:
– Robotics Engineer I: every Wednesday, 2:30 pm to 4 pm (90 minutes): every Wednesday 2:30 pm to 4 pm (90 minutes), from April 9th to June 11th, for a total of 10 sessions.
Per student fee: $250 + GST = $262.50
– Naughty Knights Chess: every Friday 2:30 pm to 4 pm (90 minutes), from April 4th to June 13th, with no sessions on April 18th and May 16th, for a total of 8 sessions.
Per student fee for each program: $200 + GST = $210
Registration deadline: Apr 1st, 2025
In order to encourage the school chess team to enter the competitive turf, we are offering booking forms to 2 our of kid’s friendly competitions in the form below. These are optional but recommended, and will allow our instructors to better prepare the students during their program. Parents can decide to register for these now or at a later time.
Terms & Conditions:
– Registration will be on a first come first serve basis for paid students only.
– Full refund can be requested via email before the program starts. A $10 admin + processing fee deduction shall apply on all refunds.
– After the program starts, cancellation can be accepted within the first 2 weeks with a pro-rated refund for balance sessions.
– After week 3, there will be no refunds issued for cancellation/ drop-outs.
– No refunds or credits for regular student absence, unless there is a long leave of absence due to emergency.
