The South Asian Collective Society (TSACS)

The South Asian Collective Society (TSACS) is a local not-for-profit committed to fostering belonging, representation and intergenerational connection within the South Asian community, while building inclusive bridges across the Tri-cities through dialogue, arts, mentorship and collective action. Through cultural platforms like PoCo Diwali, the Holi Moly party and Seniors Diwali, they have strengthened the community’s reception of diversity, sparked healthy curiosity and challenged long-standing stereotypes. Their sports initiatives – badminton, pickleball, and introducing cricket and now chess to Port Coquitlam – have enhanced community happiness, sporting spirit across demographics and overall cultural intelligence, while professional development programs like The Level Up support newcomers in navigating the Canadian workspace with confidence.

Meanwhile, recreational initiatives such as The Make A Fuss Movement and International Day of Dance are reshaping how local residents connect with small businesses and artists, creating spaces where talent and entrepreneurship can integrate meaningfully across cultures. By engaging seniors, youth, local businesses and artists across the Lower Mainland, we continue to drive measurable impact toward a more compassionate, culturally intelligent Tri-cities – and a more inclusive Canada.
